Clinical Psychologist

Cressida Brown (BBehavSc Hons, MClin Psych, MAPS, ACCLP) is a clinical psychologist who works with people experiencing depression, anxiety, personality vulnerabilities, adjustment to life transitions, grief and loss, stress difficulties, interpersonal concerns, and communication difficulties.

Cressida has experience working in community mental health, private practice and corrective services settings. While she has experience working across the lifespan, she has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults in their wellness and recovery.

Cressida adopts a client-centred approach to her work, using warmth, empathy and a trauma-informed stance to foster a sense of safety in the therapeutic space. Her preference is to work collaboratively with clients in developing treatment plans to meet their individual needs and preferences for work, through integrating evidence-based frameworks such as cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and family systems principles.

Cressida offers telehealth and face-to-face appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays 9.30am-4.30pm.
