Dr Maya Lloyd (M Clin Psych, PhD, FCCP, MAPS) is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years’ experience, working in both the public and private sector.
Maya works across the lifespan treating individuals of all ages; children, adolescents, adults and families. Maya has a passion for helping people improve their quality of life, achieve happiness and feel content with who they are.
Maya works across a broad range of areas including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD and other trauma related issues, grief and loss concerns, work place stress, adjustment to lifestyle changes, LGBTQIA+, perinatal and infant mental health, parenting and parent-child relationship difficulties, family therapy and self-harm and suicidal ideation.
Maya practices a range of therapies which are tailored to suit the individual and which include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Family Therapy and Circle of Security (parenting approach based on attachment theory). Maya is also an endorsed supervisor and is accredited to supervise clinical registrars and those still completing their postgraduate qualifications.
Dr Maya Lloyd offers face-to-face appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
