Cancellation Fees and Policies

We require at least 48 hours notice if you cannot attend your appointment.

When appointments are booked, our psychologists reserve the whole hour for you; this notice period is to give our psychologists or administrative staff a reasonable, sufficient amount of time to allocate that hour to another client, if one can be found.

Our cancellation fees are below and are in line with both APS recommended fees, which can be found on the organisation’s website. Accordingly, our fees are as follows:

For Clinical Psychologists

  • 0-24 hours’ notice Full fee of $270
  • 24-48 hours’ notice 1/2 of full fee $135
  • 48 hrs-7 days’ notice No fee

For General Psychologists

  • 0-24 hours’ notice Full fee of $225
  • 24-48 hours’ notice 1/2 of full fee $112.25
  • 48 hrs-7 days’ notice No fee
In the event that a replacement is found for your session, the fee will not be charged. If you reschedule, you will also not be charged a cancellation fee.
