Consultation Fee:
The standard consultation fee is charged per hour. Fees are payable at the end of the consultation by VISA, MasterCard, or EFTPOS. Note: We are not a bulk-billing clinic.
- Standard consultation (50-55 mins): $220
Rebates:
In most cases, Medicare rebate claims or private health insurance rebate claims can be made at the time of payment on your behalf, where your treatment service is accordingly eligible.
- Medicare rebate (with a Mental Health Treatment Plan): $131.65
Cancellation Policy:
If for some reason you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 48 hours notice due to our waitlists, otherwise a late cancellation fee ($110) will apply.
Referrals:
To access the treatment services of our practitioners, you do not necessarily require a referral, as we can provide treatment on a private basis (private health insurance rebates may apply).
Alternatively, you may be eligible for Medicare’s Better Access initiative with a relevant referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician, who may prepare a Mental Health Treatment Plan for you. The Better Access initiative allows a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year.
Legal Reports:
We do not undertake report writing or legal matters as part of our practice. Legal reports will only be accepted at the practitioner’s discretion.
- Legal reports: $270 per hour
Letters:
We do not provide medical certificates. If you require a letter of support, your psychologist may want to see you for a certain number of sessions before agreeing to write a letter.
